Obtained Level 2 or above in five HKDSE subjects including English and Chinese. Each applicant is allowed to use not more than two Applied Learning subjects in the application (22222), and pass the admission interview.
Other Qualifications
Obtained HKCEE 5 passes with specific subjects including Level 2/Grade E in English Language and Chinese Language and HKAL/AS with specific results-1AL or 2AS subjects and pass the admission interview; OR
Obtained equivalent qualifications (local or overseas)* and pass the admission interview
*Pass in English and Chinese Language Admission Tests arranged by the College.

Programme Characteristics
The course contents cover the knowledge, attitude and skills of nursing, rehabilitation and health management in an ageing society.
Using a variety of innovative pedagogies and well-equipped teaching facilities to promote students’ capacities for life long and life-wide learning.
In addition to lectures and skill training, students are provided with a 160- hours of clinical practicum in organization for caring of people with disabilities and nursing homes, thus facilitating their understanding in health management under the guidance of mentors, applying what they have learned, mastering the caring skills and enhancing the practical abilities in real-life settings.
Three elective specialist study streams are added to the Programme: Apparel in Healthcare, Administration in Elderly and Disabled Care Services and Physical Fitness, students can choose the streams they are interested and learn different skill sets, thus enhance their employability after graduation.
The Incubation for Lifelong Learning Scheme provides a platform for students to join an industry according to their interest before graduation. With guidance from College teachers and coaches from the industry, students can develop their interest, creativity potential and lifelong learning capacity.
Upon completion of the Programme, students should be enabled to become:
knowledgeable and skillful for providing care to people in need as a result of their age or disabilities, including those who are in residential care homes, health care and community support services units or their own homes;
competent assistants to healthcare professionals and independent practitioners in specific areas of elderly and disabled care as defined in the Programme;
advocates of evidence based practice;
ethical practitioners, who always take legal and ethical principles into account in practice;
active team players with multi-skill sets in the multidisciplinary care team;
eligible to apply for a number of top-up articulation degree programmes in health related areas such as Health Studies, Nursing and Applied Ageing Studies offered by local and overseas institutions; and
life-long and life-wide learners.
