NHI408/GEGC04. Ubiquitous Health Informatics
Course Description and Aim︰
This course introduces students to the development of ubiquitous information and communication technologies in healthcare in both local and international societies. Apart from knowledge of e-Health and m-Health, u-Health will be discussed and their applications and related issues in healthcare will be examined. Ubiquitous health informatics, on one hand is redesigning modern healthcare systems with promising technological and social prospects, on the other, it brings to us the concerns and problems of globalized healthcare. To strengthen students’ understanding, real life examples will be used for illustration.

HK$3560 (Half fee discount, $7120 per course), free for tertiary students.

Attendees with an attendance rate of 90% can obtain an e-certificate from the Discipline of Language, Literature and Arts.
