Government Subsidy Schemes for full time local undergraduate students

Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme (NMTSS), is which for eligible students enrolled in self-financing first-year-first-degree programmes or top-up degree programmes, is now open for applications.

To be eligible for the subsidy, students must meet the following requirements:
(a) Local students;
(b) Enrolled in full-time locally accredited self-financing undergraduate (including top-up degree) programmes

The following students are NOT eligible for the subsidy:
(a) Non-local students;
(b) Students who already possessed a degree at the Bachelor’s level or above;
(c) Students who are enrolling in any subsidised undergraduate or sub-degree programmes (such as University Grants Committee-funded programmes, subvented programmes of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and subsidised places of the designated programmes under SSSDP).

Government financial Assistance Schemes for full time local undergraduate and postgraduate students

The Hong Kong SAR Government provides the following financial aid schemes to local undergraduate students:

• Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP)
• Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS)
• Student Travel Subsidy for Tertiary or Post-secondary Students (STS)
