SPSS Talent Development Scholarship (TDS)
- Guidelines to Applicants 2023/24
Objectives
Scholarships to give recognition to students who have demonstrated achievements or talent in non-academic areas and provide support for these students to further develop their talent and potential
Eligibility
Students who are currently studying at all levels/years at the College and able to demonstrate track records in the past THREE years (on or after 1 September 2020) in any of the following areas:
- Sports and games;
- Music and performing arts;
- Culture, arts and design;
- Innovation;
- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
Criteria for Assessment
The assessment criteria are as follows:
- receive awards in at least territory-wide, competitions/performances; or
- Represent institution or relevant association in such competitions/performances; or
- Have good recommendation/assessment by the institution or relevant organization on the capability or talent; or
- Improvement and excellence for renewal case; or
- As an exceptional arrangement, virtual competitions are accepted for 2022/23; and
- Achieve satisfactory academic attainment
For first year students:
- the academic result during secondary / post-secondary education, including public examinations, will be considered
For students at second year or above:
- achieve at least a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 out of 4.0 at the time of nomination.

Scholarship Amount
Bachelor Degree Student: HK$10,000 for each student
